I was thinking Greece area as it looked Mediterraney (I don’t think I’ve spelt that right or even if it’s a real word). If it’s the dream, does that mean you won’t be having the real honeymoon there?

We did our honeymoon in Greece. Started at Athens, shipped out from Pireus to Mykonos then Naxos then Santorini then on to Chania on Crete. Mykonos and Santorini were great showplaces, all buffed up for tourists. Naxos was our concession to “real life” Greece, but you quickly realize how crapped up the beaches get when no one is cleaning them up– the trip around to the far side of the island was interesting. Crete was great and Chania was pretty down to earth– the east side of the island is more resort-oriented, so we headed west. It’s easy to traverse the north side of the island, but it’s slow going to any points south. Went to Elephonessus (sp?) Island which was a nice trip, and there was some south-side Inn called the Phoenix or Foenix that this woman we were traveling with swore by.

that has to be the north coast of crete because the second picture is knossos
